RANKING THE DTC40K STARS! (PART 5)
The Dutch Masters, the most competitive 40K tournament in the netherlands, is just around so that means we need to prepare ourselves for the DTC40K invitationals as well! On the day before of the event the tournament winners of this season will meet each other in the most cutthroat RTT of the year, the winner will be crowned Champion of the DTC40K!
To spice up this slugfest we will do first round pairings based on a community voted ranking. Everyone gets to vote the players in the ranking order they feel is appropriate, once all data has been processed we have a community ranking that will be used for pairings. The number 1 ranked player, will be paired up into number 18, 2 in to 17 and soforth. Everyone gets only 1 vote so make it count! To the competing players in the Invitationals, time to get your clubmates involved! We have a group of 18 players so to give them all a fair chance in the ranking we will be doing short introductions on all the players. how may years have you been playing 40k?
I have been playing Warhammer for about 15 years now. I started playing 40k at the beginning of 8th edition. But that has been mostly for fun. At the start of 9th i started getting into the more competitive side. I have only been playing competitive 40k for about 2 or 3 years now.
Achievements in 40k?
Ive had my fair share of succes the last few years. Which im very proud of, but im trying to stay humble.

AO 4th place(!)
Having a mention on Goonhammer was also really cool!
Favourite faction?
My favorite faction has been Sisters of Battle since the start of 10th. They have taken a lot of nerfs (also a really good codex) but im determined to finish this season with SoB.
Your absolute nemesis (faction or player)
SoB dont like Space Wolves, not one bit. All heavy pressure armies are tough for SoB, but that also has a bit to do with my own army compositions. And ofcourse the fact that SoB is very expensive now. This does not help against armies which require screening/throw away units.
What are your goals for this years Dutch Masters?
With the nerfs to Sisters im trying to temper my expectations a little bit, i was trying to go 4-1. A top 3 DTC trophy would be a great way to close this season off. Together with a Best in Faction trophy. The icing on the cake!

Achievements in 40k?
As a TO i’ve managed to run an RTT series for over 5 years now where we have a set a great standard and example for others. The DTC40K and Dutch Masters have been growing in a steady pace and i really do believe it’s helping our community be better at 40K.
Oh yeah, i won a bunch of trophies and i managed to end 2nd at a GT because of list errors, not once but TWICE!

I’ve been enjoying Genestealer Cults for the last couple of days again.

I don’t really dislike factions, i do hate 4++’s…
If it comes to players, Chris Clayton ..i used to slap this man around when he was bringing funny Deathguard lists, nowadays i can just offer him a handshake and the score he wants to save myself from 3 hours of pain.
