THE DUTCH MASTERS, THE MOST COMPETITIVE 40K TOURNAMENT IN THE NETHERLANDS!
last Januray we had 58 players duking it out over 6 rounds. in the end Pieter Meijer won the event, Ron Eliyahoo won the entire season! Congrats again gents! A YEAR IN REVIEW AND A LOOK AT WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT 2024
2023 was a great year for Dutch warhammer and the DTC40K! In total we had more than 30 40K events this past year. There are 238 players who are now registered in the DTC rankings, which is more than we have ever had before. There are tight races for a few DTC Best In Faction spots which will be decided this weekend and the overall DTC winner is still “technically” up for grabs.
CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH: THE DTC INVITATIONAL
The Dutch Masters weekend is almost upon us, so we will review some of the players and lists in the upcoming 3 weeks. First up are the 8 brave souls who are participating in the DTC invitationals. These 8 players will enter in a single elimination 3-round tournament with 1 player being able to call himself king of kings, our new Wilhelm van Oranje! Before the event all the players will be seeded from 1 to 8, depending on their seeding we will know which players pair into each other. Player 1 goes into player 8, 2 into 7 and so forth. The seeding will be done by using their current DTC40K ranking and by community vote! Everyone can use the following form to fill in their personal ranking of the invitees. To make your job a bit easier we will give you the rundown of all 8 players where they won their ticket and what you can expect from them to play.
THE WINNER OF THE ALLIANCE OPEN GT: RON ELIYAHOO
I took my Necrons (spoiler alert: they’re Dick’s Necrons) to the AO GT, going 5-1, surprising everyone and even myself with those results. This has added a lot of fuel to the fire to Cross the Rubicon, but this article isn’t about me and my struggles to win an event. This article is looking at Ron Eliyahoo - Winner of the AO GT! We’re going to dive into his 40K backstory, the list he took to the event, his run at AO and discuss some of his tips on how to prepare for an event and become a better 40K player. Ron - thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us. Congratulations on your win!
